It was a meaningful day, when I followed Cannas back to her grandma’s house in Baling, Kedah. It was an hour journey which we departed from her house back in Butterworth. It was sort of a family gathering for the Mid-Autumn Festival. This little girl- Glynnis was really hyperactive all along the journey, non-stop mischieving and cheering around. She is Cannas’s niece; sweet little girl…sweat! Upon reaching, all the aunties of Cannas were very busy preparing raw materials for the steamboat lunch of the day. We had tom yam and chicken flavour as the soup base...yum! In the night, we had another session of steamboat meal again as our dinner, aikks…was those left over materials in the afternoon...yum yum! Lattern lit the dinner, embraced with chatters.

Day 2
Drove an hour road down to Gerik, heading Temenggor Lake for it’s majestic resort which sit on a man-made island- Belum Rainforest Resort. Didn’t plan for any outdoors today, just had little photo shooting session and toured around at the resort there. I found this resort has very beautiful I heard there’s a package provided by them- 3days 2nights for RM390 pax. The tour includes trekking, camping, bird watching, orang asli settlement visits and Rafflesia sightings. Then we left, to visit the water-house, which means the comunities who lives in a floating houses on the Temenggor Lake. I found that the houses there are very all very hot, their zinc rooftop are not sheilded from the ceiling and heat of the sun is conducted all over the space. Woosshh! Cannot find any restaurant here, so we headed to Gerik Town for our lunch, and back to home then.
